Welcome to Ambuvets Konsult...
We are an animal health services and livestock input distribution enterprise using innovative and inclusive business models to deliver affordable veterinary products, animal health services, and extension to smallholder farmers in rural and hard-to-reach locations in Nigeria.
Through our innovative approach, we are leveraging a network of Agrovet retailers and Last-Mile Animal Health workers (Community animal health workers, Veterinary Paraprofessionals and Veterinarians) to make animal health care as well as technical and business advisory services accessible to small farmers especially in rural areas.
Our model has resulted in the dissemination of awareness information on improved livestock health practices, access to veterinary products and services to over 100,000 smallholder farmers (70% women) leading to significantly improved productivity, reduced livestock losses and increased household income and nutrition.
Our vision is to democratize access to affordable and quality animal health care and advisory services amongst smallholder farming communities in Africa.
